Top 100 Cohort

TerraFund for AFR100’s first cohort restores land across 27 African countries. Thanks to support from the Bezos Earth Fund and six financial partners, we issued a call for project proposals in September 2021 and received more than 3,200 applications.

After an extensive selection process through May 2022, TerraFund deployed its first grants and loans of $50,000 to $500,000 to 100 restoration champions that work across these AFR100 member countries. Together, they make up TerraFund’s “Top 100” cohort.
